Project overview
What is 'El Dorado'?
It was a project to build a "Loan Management Tool" that allows the internal teams at Alraedah to manage and track our current customers. The tool consisting of many features, but mainly focusing on payments tracking, notifying users of past due payments, and bulk upload manual payments.
Who are we designing for?
Internal team, specifically Financial Operations, who use the portal to keep track of our customers’ payments, and perform calculations for settlements.
Improving the day to day tasks of our internal team, while making sure we get to service our customers in the best way possible. Therefore, building trust with our customers and a chance of customer retention.
Major pain points
Lack of system feedback – most of the time they weren't sure if the system truly performed the action or not
No traceability – this led the team to lose track of their work and had to use third-party tools for team collaboration.
Low transparency
